Airports Named After People

This handout round features the names of 15 cities around the world that have airports that are named after famous people. The names of the 15 people the airports are named after are given in a mixed order and with 5 red herrings, and the aim for teams in your quiz is to choose the correct 15 people and match them up correctly to the cities where they have an airport named after them.

A few of these should be nice and easy to get teams up and running quickly in this round, but for quite a few it won't be obvious and teams are likely to have to rely on some educated guesses and deduction to complete this round.

While the information in this round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets) it is recommended that this is used in a quiz as a handout round as it is likely to keep people occupied and entertained for a reasonable length of time.
