The second of two complete Christmas pub quiz packs compiled in 2010, this pack is again themed around the subject of Christmas and features 7 high quality rounds as follows...

Round 1: Christmas Mix
This handout round if split into three sections. The first section features 5 pictures of gifts from the song The 12 Days Of Christmas, with the aim for teams being to name the days on which they are first given as gifts. The second section features 5 famous people in panto gear to be identified, and the final section features 5 Dingbats style clues that teams have to try to decipher and come up with Christmas words and phrases.

Round 2: Christmas Literature
10 Christmas themed questions on the subject of literature. For example, "Which character from a Christmas themed book lived on Mount Crumpit and had a heart that was two sizes too small?"

Round 3: Christmas Connections
7 general knowledge questions, plus a final question, worth 3 points, asking for a Christmas related connection between the first 7 answers.

Round 4: Christmas TV and Films
10 Christmas themed questions on TV and films. For example, "Which EastEnders character was murdered on Christmas Day in 2009?"

Round 5: Angels
10 questions on the theme of "angels", such as "How much does it cost to buy The Angel Islington in Monopoly?"

Round 6: Christmas Letter Link

10 Christmas themed questions where the answer to the last question can be spelt out by rearranging the first letters of the first 9 answers.

Round 7: Selection Box
10 Christmas themed questions, each of which offers 2 or 3 possible answers for teams to choose from. For example, "When Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday or Saturday, does the National Lottery draw take place on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day?"

The quiz pack is made up of 4 separate files as follows...

First of all there is a specially designed 2 page Christmas answer sheet to be printed out and distributed to each team at the start of the quiz for them to write their answers on as you read out questions. This also features a round by round scoresheet to make it easy to see how each team has performed after all the answers have been marked at the end of the quiz.

Secondly, there is the handout round, which again is to be printed out and distributed to each team at the start of the quiz for them to work on straight away, and carry on working on throughout the quiz and during any breaks you have.

Next there is a 4 page sheet featuring all the questions in rounds 2 to 7 for you to read out during the quiz, along with all the answers to these plus the answers to the handout round to be used at the end of the quiz to mark everyone's answers. This also features 2 Christmas themed tie-break questions to be used at the end of your quiz if two or more teams end up with the same score.

Finally, there is a 4 page sheet featuring detailed round by round instructions and notes, plus general advice and recommendations on running a successful and entertaining quiz.
