Christmas Quiz 21

Christmas Quiz 21

This complete pub quiz pack has been specially compiled with a Christmas theme throughout, so is particularly suitable for quizzes run during the festive season. It features eight rounds as follows...

Round 1: Secret Santa
This picture round features the faces of 15 famous people hidden behind Santa disguises, with each person having all the letters from "Santa" in their name. The aim for teams is to identify these people.

Round 2: Christmas in History
Ten questions on Christmas in History, such as "Televised live across the world, Leonard Bernstein conducted a performance of Beethoven's Symphony Number Nine on Christmas Day in 1989 to celebrate what event?"

Round 3: Connections
Eight questions on General Knowledge, plus a final question asking for a Christmas-themed connection between the previous eight answers.

Round 4: Fifty Fifty
Ten Christmas-themed questions, each with two possible answers to choose from, such as "Which of the following cities in California was the western terminus of Route 66?... a) Santa Barbara; or b) Santa Monica?"

Round 5: Points Builder... Christmas Number Ones
Four questions on Christmas number one hit singles, where question one requires one answer, question two requires two answers, and so on, and where each individual answer is worth one point.

Round 6: Initial Letter Link
Ten Christmas-themed questions, where the answer to the final question can be spelt out by rearranging the first letters of the first nine answers.

Round 7: Toys and Games
Ten questions on toys and games, such as "Which must-have Christmas toy of 1998 was created by Dave Hampton and Caleb Chung and originally started speaking its own language before appearing to slowly learn to speak English?"

Round 8: Christmas Mix
Ten questions with a Christmas theme, where we recommend adding a gambling element, such as "two points for a correct answer, but teams can leave answers blank as minus two points are awarded for each wrong answer".

This pub quiz pack is made up of six separate files as follows...

First of all there is a two-page answer sheet that you can print out and hand out to each team at the start of the quiz for them to write their answers on as you read out questions.

Secondly, there is the picture round. Again you can can print this out and hand it out to teams at the start of your quiz for them to work on straight away, and carry on working on throughout the quiz and during any breaks you have.

Next there is a six-page document with all of the questions for you to read out, along with all the answers to these and the answers to the handout round. This also features two tie-break questions to be used at the end of your quiz if two or more teams end up with the same score, along with a set of substitute questions to help you tailor the difficulty level of your quiz.

There is also another version of this six-page document, but where all of the answers have been removed. This may not be needed, but is included in case the quizmaster would like to take part in the quiz too.

Next there is a four-page document with instructions and advice on how to run a great quiz.

Finally, there is a quizmaster's scoresheet to help keep track of teams' scores.

If you buy this quiz, we will give you access to pdf files you can download. These will contain all of the material described above. You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
