Cryptic Countries 3

Another in our series of cryptic countries rounds, this pub quiz handout round features 15 phrases that can each be reworded to give a new phrase that sounds like the name of a country. The aim for teams is to name these countries. For example, the correct answer to "jeer darkening of skin" is Bhutan, as the clue could be reworded as "boo tan", 

A few of these cryptic clues are fairly straightforward and most teams in your quiz should be able to get up and running on this round without too much trouble. However, there are some tricky clues that are likely to take a fair bit of puzzling over before teams arrive at the correct answer.
