This question pack features 5 sets of 10 questions and answers, each of which have an answer that can be only be one of two options (e.g. "True" or "False"), meaning that even a random guess has a fifty fifty chance of being correct.
The rounds are as follows...
True Or False?
10 statements for you to read out as teams in your quiz decide whether they are true or false. For example, "A person from the German city of Hamburg is known as a Hamburger?"
More Or Less?
10 questions where the answer is either "more" or "less". For example, "Are there more or less calories in a McDonalds Big Mac than in a Burger King Whopper?"
Urban Myths?
10 statements which have often been stated in the past - but teams have to decide whether they are "true" or whether they are "false" and are just urban myths. For example, "Eating celery results in negative calories?"
Bigger Or Smaller?
10 questions where the answer is either "bigger" or "smaller". For example, "Is the Eiffel Tower bigger or smaller than the Empire State building?"
Number Ones?
This round features 10 famous singles (e.g. "Wonderwall" by Oasis) for you to read out as teams try to decide whether or not they reached number one in the UK singles chart.
This question pack also features two tie-breaker questions that can be used in the event of two or more teams having the same score at the end of the quiz.
While you could use all of this material on its own for your quiz, we recommend that you only use one or two of these rounds in each quiz you do and that the rest of the quiz is made up of handout rounds, plus other question and answer rounds on general subjects, specialist subjects, plus rounds with a twist (e.g. connections rounds).
If you buy this quiz pack, we will give you access to download a pdf file. This contains all of the questions and answers for all of the rounds in this pack. You might also be interested in our free answer sheets for teams to write their answers on as you read the questions.
You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
