Halloween Quiz 7

Halloween Quiz 7

New for 2012, this complete pub quiz pack was specially compiled with a Halloween theme throughout and features 8 high quality rounds as follows...

Round 1: Handout Round - Celebrity Zombies
This picture round features photos of 10 famous people, all of whom have been made to look like zombies! The aim for teams in your quiz is to identify them.

Round 2: Witches
10 questions on the theme of witches, such as "Which famous fictional character has his first ever kiss with a witch called Cho Chang?"

Round 3: Connections
7 general knowledge questions followed by a final question worth 3 points asking for the Halloween related connection between the previous 7 answers.

Round 4: Points Builder
5 Halloween themed questions where question 1 requires 1 answer, question 2 requires 2 answers and so on. Each individual answer is worth 1 point, so 15 points are available in total for this round.

Round 5: Trick Or Treat
10 general knowledge questions, each of which seems to have an obvious answer, but is this obvious answer correct? An example question is "What is the name of the fourth generation iPhone? The iPhone 4 or the iPhone 3GS?"

Round 6: Initial Letter Link

8 Halloween themed questions, plus a final question worth 2 points that has an answer that can be spelt out by rearranging the first letters of the first 8 answers.

Round 7: Halloween Happenings
5 questions on events that all took place on October 31st in previous years, such as "On October 31st 1955, who called off plans to marry Group Captain Peter Townsend?"

Round 8: Double Trouble
10 Halloween themed questions with correct answers rewarded with 2 points. Teams can choose to leave answers blank however, as incorrect answers score minus 4 points!

The quiz is made up of 5 separate files as follows...

First of all there is a specially designed 2 page answer sheet to be printed out and distributed to each team at the start of the quiz for them to write their answers on as you read out questions. This also features a round by round scoresheet to make it easy to see how each team has performed after all the answers have been marked at the end of the quiz.

Secondly, there is a handout round, which again is to be printed out and distributed to each team at the start of the quiz for them to work on straight away, and carry on working on throughout the quiz and during any breaks you have.

Next there is a 4 page sheet featuring all the questions in rounds 2 to 8 for you to read out during the quiz, along with all the answers to these plus the answers to the handout round to be used at the end of the quiz to mark everyone's answers. This also features 2 tie-break questions to be used at the end of your quiz if two or more teams end up with the same score. There is also a "questions only" version of this 4 page sheet that doesn't include any answers. This may not be needed and is only included to give the quiz-master the opportunity to play along with the quiz without first seeing the answers.

Finally, there is a 4 page sheet featuring detailed round by round instructions and notes, plus general advice and recommendations on running the quiz.

If you buy this quiz, we will give you access to pdf files you can download. These will contain all of the material described above. You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
