This pub quiz handout round lists 15 pairs of anagrams. For each pair, the aim for teams is to unscramble the first part to come up with the title of the best-selling single in the UK in the given year, and the second part to come up with the name of the act who recorded it. For example, the correct answer to the clue "Meaner Booby Item by Nearby Priests (1999)" is "Baby One More Time by Britney Spears".

These anagrams could be used to make up standard question-and-answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that you use this round as a handout round.
