Cricketer Anagrams

This pub quiz handout round features 15 phrases for teams to unscramble to try and come up with the names of 15 former Wisden Cricketers of the Year. For example, the correct answer to "A barn liar" is Brian Lara.

While this round may appeal more to cricket fans, the cricketers chosen for this round are well known, so most people should still be able to enjoy this round without having a great knowledge of the sport.

The information in this quiz round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used in a pub quiz as a handout round.
