This pub quiz handout round lists 15 pairs of anagrams. For each pair, the aim for teams is to unscramble the first part to come up with the name of a famous music act, and the second part to come up with the name of their first UK number one hit single. The years in which these singles were number one are also given.

For example, the correct answer to the clue "Aggy Alda / Ace Nuts DJ / 2009" is "Lady Gaga / Just Dance".

These anagrams could be used to make up standard question-and-answer rounds, where the quiz master asks questions aloud, and teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that you use this round as a handout round.
