This handout round features 15 phrases for teams to try to unscramble and come up with the names of 15 items you might find on the menu of a Chinese or Indian takeaway. For example, the correct answer to "Fierce digger" is "Egg Fried Rice".

A few of these are fairly straightforward and, given enough time, most teams should be able to score highly in this round. However, there are a few anagrams that may take a bit of puzzling over before teams arrive at the correct answer.

The information in this quiz round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used in a pub quiz as a handout round.
