Lyrics - Famous People

This pub quiz handout round features 15 extracts of lyrics that all contain the name of a famous person in them. The aim for teams in your quiz is to name these songs and the acts who had hits with them. For example, the correct answer to "You make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day" is Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham.

Teams should be able to identify a few songs without too much trouble to ensure they get up and running on this round quickly. However, there some that may take a fair bit of puzzling over, so this round should keep teams guessing for some time.

These lyrics could be used to make up standard question and answer quiz rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
