This pub quiz handout round features 15 terms used in cooking, such as compote, ganache and foie gras. The definitions of these are given, and the aim for teams is to match up the correct terms to the correct definitions. So, "compote" should be matched to the definition "a dish of fruit preserved or cooked in syrup".

The information in this round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets), but it is presented so that it can also be used as a handout round.
