This quiz round features a list of 20 teams from the English football league (Bolton Wanderers, Southend United, etc.) and a separate list of their nicknames (The Trotters, The Shrimpers, etc.) in a mixed order. The aim is match up the nicknames to the correct football teams.

While this is likely to be of less appeal to people who have little interest in football, knowledge outside the world of football can also be used to complete many of these. (e.g. knowing which town is largely associated with the railway industry might help identify the team with the nickname "The Railwaymen"!)

While the information in this round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets) it is recommended that this is used in a quiz as a handout round.
