Our Survey Said 60 - January 2018

Another in our series of "Our Survey Said" rounds, this pub quiz handout round is based on a genuine survey we carried out in late 2017, in which we asked 100 people to name five things. These include a type of fish that is commonly eaten, somewhere it might be embarrassing if your mobile phone started ringing, and a sport where players wear something to protect part or all of their body. The aim for teams in your quiz is to come up with as many as possible of the five most popular answers for each question.

As this round isn't based on fact like most question and answer rounds are, it should introduce a bit of randomness to your quiz, so may help if you have the problem of the same few teams always winning your quizzes.

The information in this round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets), but it is also presented so that it can also be used as a handout round. You can find more information on handout rounds and our recommended use for them in quizzes on our handout rounds page.

If you buy this quiz round, we will give you access to pdf files you can download. Two of these will be for the main handout sheet - one as illustrated above, and one in a more plain format. The third sheet will contain the answers. You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
