Funny Movie Quotes

This pub quiz handout round features 15 quotes taken from famous comedy films from past and present. The aim for teams in your quiz is to identify the films in which they appear.

There are a few well known quotes so teams should be able to get going on this round quickly, and there are also a number of less well known quotes, but which contain clues such as character names to help teams work out the film they come from. However, there are also a few tricky quotes included, so teams may need to use some guesswork to complete the round.

These quotes could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
