Horror Movie Quotes

Especially relevant if you are doing a Halloween quiz, this handout round features 18 quotes from famous horror films with the aim being to identify the films in which they appear. For example, the quote "If you look in the mirror and say his name five times he'll appear behind you breathing down your neck" is taken from the film "Candyman".

There are a few well known quotes which should ensure that teams can get going on this round fairly easily, and there are also a number of less well known quotes, but which contain clues such as character names to help teams work out the film they come from. If you feel some of these quotes are a bit too difficult for your quiz, the year of release of each film is given in the answers, so you could use these to give teams added clues to make the round a bit easier.

These quotes could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
