Song Titles - Girls Names

This pub quiz handout round features a list of 20 groups or singers, each with a year in brackets, such as "Tom Jones (1968)". The aim for teams in your quiz is to name the hit single this act had in this year that is also a girl's name. So, in the example given here, the correct answer would be "Delilah".

As in the example above, teams should be able to identify a few song titles without too much trouble to ensure that they get up and running on this round quickly.  However, there are some that may take a bit of puzzling over before they arrive at the correct answer.

These lyrics could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
