This quiz pack features five initial letter link rounds for use in pub quizzes (or any other type of quiz that you may be running). Each round contains nine high quality general knowledge questions, plus a final question that can be answered by rearranging the first letters of the first nine answers.
These quiz rounds tend to prove more entertaining than standard question and answer rounds because, along with trying to answer each question individually, the teams in your quiz will also be trying to work out the answer to the final question using the initial letters of their answers. So if they think they have the correct answer to the final question, then this may give them clues on earlier answers they are missing, or may lead them to question answers they have where the initial letters don't fit in with this. However, if a team has an answer wrong that they believe is correct, then this may lead to extra confusion as they try to work out the final answer!
We recommend that you only use one of these rounds in each quiz you do, and that the rest of your quiz is made up of handout rounds, plus other types of question and answer rounds.
Please note that the questions in this pack also appear in Weekly Quizzes 306 to 310. If you would prefer to purchase our pre-compiled full weekly pub quiz packs, then click here, where you can find quizzes with a handout round, 2 rounds on general subjects, a specialist subject round, a connections round, an initial letter link round, and a stick or twist round, as well as professionally designed answer sheets and full instructions on how to run your quiz. If, however, you prefer to compile quizzes to your own format, then the rounds in this pack should help towards an entertaining and challenging quiz.
If you buy this quiz pack, we will give you access to download a pdf file. This contains all of the questions and answers for all of the rounds in this pack. You might also be interested in our free answer sheets for teams to write their answers on as you read the questions.
You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
