This quiz round is in two parts with one featuring all the initials of the 18 different recipients of a Best Male Solo Brit award between 1979 and 2006 and the other featuring the initials of 18 different recipients of the Best Female Solo Brit award in the same period (e.g. "P. G. = Peter Gabriel", "G. = Gabrielle"). The aim of the quiz is to expand the initials and come up with 36 full names. Note that if someone won an award in more than one year, then their initials appear only once and they only have to be identified once.

These initials could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
