Number One Events Match Up

This pub quiz handout round lists 15 well known songs such as Yellow Submarine by The Beatles and Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O'Connor. There is also a list of 15 well known events, and the aim for teams in your quiz is to match up each event to the song that was at number one in the UK singles chart when it occurred. For example, "Nelson Mandela was released from prison" should be matched to Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O'Connor. 

While the information in this round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets) it is recommended that this is used in a quiz as a handout round.
