This pub quiz pack features 5 "Quickfire" rounds for you to use in your quizzes. Each round is made up of 10 "quick" questions that follow the same basic format or theme.
The rounds in this pack are as follows...
City Rivers
10 rivers, where the aim for each is to name the only capital city that it flows through or, if it flows through more than one, then name any one of the capital cities it flows through.
Left or Right
10 questions, each requiring an answer of "left" or "right".
Population Pairs
10 pairs of places, where the aim for each is to say which one is more populated.
Dickens or Bond
10 female character names, where the aim for each is to say whether she is a character from a Charles Dickens novel or a James Bond film.
The Long and Short of It
10 questions, each asking teams to choose the longer of two options.
As these quiz rounds are shorter than a typical quiz round, they can be helpful to help keep things moving along in your quiz.
We recommend that you only use one of these rounds in each quiz you do, and that the rest of your quiz is made up of handout rounds, plus other types of question and answer rounds.
Note that these rounds already appear in Weekly Quizzes 687 to 691. If you would prefer to buy full pub quiz packs complete with a handout round, a variety of other question and answer rounds, plus specially designed answer sheets for teams to write their answers on, then please visit our Complete Quizzes section. If, however, you prefer to compile your own format of quiz, but are looking for extra rounds to use in this, then this quiz pack will hopefully be of use to you.
If you buy this quiz pack, we will give you access to download a pdf file. This contains all of the questions and answers for all of the rounds in this pack. You might also be interested in our free answer sheets for teams to write their answers on as you read the questions.
You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
