Especially relevant if you are running a pub quiz at the end of the year 2007 or early in 2008, this handout round features 15 quotes from the year 2007, with the aim being to identify who spoke them.

For a few of these it should be fairly obvious who said them, so most teams should be able to get up and running on this round quickly. There are also a number of quotes which may not be so well known, but which contain clues that should help teams deduce who might have said them. There are also a few quotes, though, that might prove difficult to figure out who might have said them, so teams may need to use educated guesses to complete the round.

These quotes could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used in a pub quiz as a handout round.
