Quotes Of 2013

This pub quiz handout round features 15 quotes from the year 2013, with the aim for teams being to identify the famous people responsible for them. For example, the correct answer to "If this is the face of Scottish nationalism, it's a pretty ugly nation" is Nigel Farage (in quote referring to being met by protestors on a visit to Edinburgh).

Teams should be able to come up with the correct answers to a few of these quotes without too much trouble, however, there are also some quotes that may not be so well known where teams will have to pick out clues within the quotes to try to work out who might have said them.

These quotes could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used in a pub quiz as a handout round.
