Real Names - Female Singers

This quiz round features a list of 10 famous female singers (Cher, Tina Turner, Pink, etc), a list of their real names in a mixed order,  and a list of facts about the singers (eg. "Is the first female singer heard on USA For Africa's charity single We Are The World") also in a mixed order. The aim of the round is to match up the correct names and facts to the correct singers.

The facts here were chosen so that a lot are unlikely to be obvious to which singer they belong, but that it is obvious that there are a few singers on the list that they are very unlikely to belong to. This means that as well as testing people's knowledge on this subject, it will also test their powers of deduction as they try to to match each fact with the correct singer. For the real names of the singers, there should be some that teams know, but they may have to rely on guesswork to complete the round.

While the information in this round could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets) it is recommended that this is used in a quiz as a handout round as it is likely to keep people occupied and entertained for a reasonable length of time.
