This pub quiz handout round features the titles of famous songs, where each title contains a number, but where only the initial letters of the other words in the title are given. The years the songs were hit singles are also given, and the aim for teams is to give the full titles of the songs along with the acts who had hits with them. For example, the correct answer to "2 L B (1969)" is Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris.

Teams should be able to identify a few song titles and acts to ensure they get up and running on this round quickly. However, there are some that may take a fair bit of puzzling over and a few where teams may be able to work out the song title fairly easily, but may be left trying to figure out the name of the act who had hit singles with them.

These lyrics could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
