The second of our "Split Words" rounds, this handout round lists 15 more clues that are each made up of two parts. For each clue, the aim is to come up with a two-word phrase that fits the first part, and that becomes a word that fits the second part when you remove the space.

For example, the correct answer to the clue "mischievous sprite told an untruth / indicated" is "imp lied" (which becomes "implied" when you remove the space).

The information in this round could be used to make up standard question-and-answer rounds (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets), but it is presented so that it can also be used as a handout round.
