Town and City Story

Another in our popular series of "story" rounds, this pub quiz handout round features a story with a number of blanks. The aim for teams is to make the story readable by filling in the blanks with the most suitable names of UK towns and cities.

For example, in the section...

"It started to rain and Lee slipped, leaving a large cut on his arm. Nevertheless, he _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ."

... the blanks can be replaced by "Preston", as this sounds like "pressed on".

There are 20 blanks in total, so 20 points are available, and while teams should be able to fill in some towns and cities quickly, others may take some puzzling over, so this quiz round should keep teams in your quiz entertained for some time.
