The aim of this pub quiz handout round is to come up with 20 titles of TV shows that have been changed slightly from their descriptions, which have also been changed slightly to better fit their new titles. For the first five shows, a letter has been added to the title, for the second five, a letter has been removed, for the third five, a letter has been changed, and for the final five, a word has been replaced by an anagram of that word.

As an example, one of the clues in the first section is "Comedy drama series in which an alien moves to a village called Portwenn". The answer to this is "Doc Martian", with a letter being added to "Doc Martin".

It is recommended that this round is used in your quiz as a handout round. You can find more information on handout rounds and our recommended use for them in quizzes on our handout rounds page.
