Review Of The Year 2022 Quiz 2

Review Of The Year 2022 Quiz 2

The second of two complete pub quiz packs looking back at events from the year 2022, this quiz is particularly suitable for New Year's Eve parties and for quizzes run towards the end of 2022 or in early 2023.

The quiz is made of 13 rounds, the first of which is a handout round split into four sections. The first section of this features photos of five music acts, who all made their Glastonbury Festival debut in 2022, and the aim for teams is to name them. In the second section, the aim is to unscramble five anagrams to come up with the names of five towns in the UK that were granted city status in 2022. In the third section, the aim is to name five TV dramas that were broadcast for the first time in 2022 from extracts of newspaper reviews about them. The final section features five quotes and tweets from 2022, with the aim being to name the famous people responsible for them.

The rest of the quiz is made up of rounds based on events that took place in the 12 months of 2022. So the next round is on events from January with an example question being "On January 18th, the TV channel GB News began doing what before the start of its live programming each day?"

The next round features five questions on events from February 2022, and so on.

The pub quiz pack is made up of six separate files as follows...

First of all there is two-page sheet that you can print out and hand out to each team at the start of the quiz for them to write their answers on as you read out questions.

Secondly, there is the handout round, which again is to be printed out and handed out to teams at the start of the quiz for them to work on straight away, and carry on working on throughout the quiz and during any breaks you have.

Next there is a six-page document with all of the questions in the other rounds for you to read out, along with all the answers to these and the answers to the handout round. This also features two tie-break questions to be used at the end of your quiz if two or more teams end up with the same score, along with a set of substitute questions to help you tailor the difficulty level of your quiz.

There is also another version of this six-page document, but where all of the answers have been removed. This may not be needed, but is included in case the quiz-master would like to take part in the quiz too.

Next, there is a four-page sheet with instructions and advice on how to run a great quiz.

Finally, there is a quiz-master's scoresheet to help keep track of teams' scores.

If you buy this quiz, we will give you access to pdf files you can download. These will contain all of the material described above. You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
