This pub quiz handout round lists 15 clues - each made up of an anagram, a word or phrase, and then another anagram. For each clue, the aim is to unscramble both pairs of anagrams to complete a well-known proberb.

For example, the correct answer to the clue "uses bins / before / super ale" is "business before pleasure".

These anagrams could be used to make up standard question-and-answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that you use this round as a handout round.
