Lyrics - TV Adverts

This quiz round features 20 lyrics from songs from famous TV adverts from past and present and the aim for the teams in your quiz is to identify the 20 products that they were advertising. For example, the lyric "Thank you very much, thank you very, very, very much" is from an advert that was advertising Cadbury's Roses.

Most of these lyrics should be easy recognisable, and with some it should be easy to identify the product being advertised so that most teams can get up and running quickly. However, there should be a few lyrics that despite teams being able to recognise them, it's not so easy to remember what product they were advertising! It's also worth pointing out that a number of these lyrics are from adverts from as far back as the early 1980s, so some younger people may not have heard of some of these lyrics before.

These lyrics could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
