Lyrics - Weather

This quiz round features extracts of lyrics from 20 songs with the aim for teams in your quiz being to identify these songs along with the artists who first had a hit single with them. The theme to this round is "weather" and each of these has a connection with the weather either in the title of the song or the name of the artist. For example the lyric "The taxman's taken all my dough" appears in the song "Sunny Afternoon" by The Kinks.

A number of these lyrics should be fairly easy to identify to get teams up and running on this round quickly, but there are a few that should keep teams puzzled and entertained for some time.

These lyrics could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round. For more information on handout rounds and our recommended use for them in quizzes click here

If you buy this handout round, we will give you access to pdf files you can download. Two of these will be for the main handout sheet - one as illustrated above, and one in a more plain format. The third sheet will contain the answers. You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
