This handout round features 20 extracts of lyrics from famous songs which were hits for Irish artists. The aim of the round is to identify the song titles along with the artists who had a UK hit them.

Quite a few of these lyrics should be fairly easy to identify to get teams up and running quickly, but there are some which should take a fair bit of puzzling over and should keep teams entertained for some time.

These lyrics could be used to make up standard question and answer rounds, where the quiz-master asks questions aloud, and the teams write their answers on blank answer sheets, but we recommended that they are used as a handout round.
