This pub quiz handout round features a list of 20 different years in recent history and for each year gives the first part of the name of the horse that won the Grand National in that year ("Red", "Silver", "Maori", etc.). The second parts of the 20 names are also given ("House", "Birch", "Rum", etc.) but in a mixed order, and the aim for teams in your quiz is to match them all up correctly to give the correct names of the 20 winning horses.
Most teams should be able to score highly on this round, but there are a few less well known films included, so some deduction and educated guesswork may be needed to complete the round.
While the information in this round could be used in a pub quiz to make up a standard question and answers (where the quiz-master asks questions aloud and the teams write the answers on blank answer sheets) it is recommended that this is used in a quiz as a handout round. If you buy this handout round, we will give you access to pdf files you can download. Two of these will be for the main handout sheet - one as illustrated above, and one in a more plain format. The third sheet will contain the answers. You probably already have everything you need to access and use these rounds in your quiz, but you might want to check our requirements page to make sure.
