Especially ideal for use in a Christmas themed pub quiz, this handout round features a cryptic crossword with 20 clues, where all the answers are words that are related to Christmas. For example, the correct answer to the clue "boss without a box" is "manger". This is because "manager" is another word for "box", and if this is spelt without one of its letter "a"s, it spells "manger", a type of box mentioned in the Navity story.

Some of these cryptic clues are fairly straightforward to get teams started, but some may take a bit of puzzling over before teams arrive at the correct answer, so this quiz round should keep teams entertained for a while.
